December 29, 2007, Brenda Kay Miller appeared as the conductor for the SGI-USA East Territory Chorus accompanied by Jazz Pianist Onaje Allan Gumbs along with a total of about 90 classical, jazz and chorus performers. Shown here Ms Miller is conducting the singing of "Happy Birthday" to Daisaku Ikeda, President of the Soka Gakkai International, as part of a celebratory Concert in honor of Daisaku Ikeda's 80th birthday at a SGI sponsored concert in New York City's Town Hall with 1500 in the audience also joining in the singing.

On October 21, 2007 Voice & Piano Students of Brenda Kay Miller performed in a recital at Ms. Miller's home. Above in order of performance (from L. to R.) are Sarah Battaglia, vocalist and pianist, Sophia Battaglia, vocalist and pianist, Max Tamarkin, vocalist and pianist, (2nd Row) Gloria Rodriguez, vocalist, Brandon Lyew, pianist, Anica Haymes, vocalist and pianist. April 10, 2006, Brenda Kay Miller appeared on the SGI USA NY Concert Dreams Do Come Truewhich featured, Brenda's long time friend and Assistant Director for the Sunrise Chorus, Ednah Holt and her guests. Brenda and Ednah sang the duet Get Happy/Happy Days originally performed in the 1960s by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand. A short except of this performance appears on the HOME page of this website.

In a concert, entitled Songs from the Heart, held at the SGI-USA NY Center in November 2006, Brenda Kay Miller performed 3 of her original compositions and 2 opera arias. Also appearing on this concert are the pictured singers and accompanist from (L. to R.) Nathan Kaplan, Brenda's accompanist; Carol Daly, jazz singer; Saundra Silliman, jazz singer; and Brenda Kay Miller, jazz/classical singer, in a photo taken at the end of the concert.

Brenda Kay Miller has also performed as director and co-founder of Sound Tapestry of Hoboken, Inc. (STOH) from 1989-2000, pictured from left to right, STOH Fall 1998, STOH Summer of 2000; as current director of the SGI New York Sunrise Women's Chorus, pictured 2nd from the right; and as former director of the All Saints Glee Club, pictured at the right as part of a 1998 benefit concert in which Ms. Miller sang as soloist accompanied by Edward F. Ginter, directed the All Saints Glee Club and sang with Vincent J. Barbo.

Brenda's family, shown in pictures 1 and 2 from the left; her father, Robert Henry Miller, with her mother, Esther June Miller, and her sister, Vickie Jayne Miller, have given her encouragement throughout her life. Lastly, but certainly not least, her dear friend, Doris Totaro, pictured above on the right, is shown singing on a Sound Tapestry concert. Doris was co-founder, chorus coordinator and chorus singer for all of STOH's 11 years.
